“An awesome place to play Original Music & Twisted Coverz with the Jammin Jeff Ferrier Band (what a great backyard at the Bayou to hang with friendz, fanz and family, between sets) luv it ♡”
“This place is everything a great dive bar should be. The live music is consistently solid, whether it’s a local band tearing it up or a surprise act. The Owner and Bartenders are simply the best. The crowd is a perfect mix of locals, music lovers, and people who just want a laid-back night out.”
“Fun, casual neighborhood bar along the bayou. Super chill. Small stage inside. Huge area outside to enjoy hanging out. Live music up close and personal. Last night”s live band, Engine Driver, was fabulous.”
“I was refused service because the bartender was not educated about “Real ID” term. When I was asked to present my ID in order to order a drink and I gave my driver’s license that says “not for real ID” meaning that I cannot fly with my driver’s license, the bartender refused to serve me saying that my ID is not a federal issued ID. Owner of the place - please educate your employees. Thank you!”
“Stumbled upon this spot while walking to the farmers market from the train station. Austin was server and he was super friendly, the exact kind of bartender we’ve been missing since our visit to Houston. Places like this are a dying breed. Nice to see something so thoughtful and not corporate owned in the 4th largest US city.”
