“My wife and I had an early dinner on Sunday afternoon. We had the happy hour hamburger in half order of fried catfish. I had a red beer. The fish was very good the hamburger was impressive and the beer was good. The fries and coleslaw were both fine. The prices were reasonable. We got out for about $40 after a tip. I can recommend this as a non-pretentious place to eat.”
“I travel extensively and have the opportunity to dine at restaurants all across the country, and I can honestly say that Fish City Grill has completely raised the bar when it comes to blackened trout. The flavor is perfectly balanced, the seasoning is spot on, and the trout was incredibly juicy and cooked to perfection. The garlic spinach was absolutely delicious and complemented the meal beautifully. Every bite...”
“Nice place. We come here quite often. It is good seafood and friendly staff. The oyster nachos are really something that you should give a try. The gumbo is not bad maybe not the best but it’s pretty good for a San Antonio.”
“First time trying this restaurant and I'm happy we did. We ordered the seafood platter and catfish and oysters. Everything tasted fresh and cooked perfectly. Our waiter Cedric was very helpful and made some good recommendations. I would have given 5 stars but the mashed potatoes were dry. The atmosphere was nice and simple. We will definitely try this place again”
“This was our first time visiting. The food was excellent. I had blackened shrimp-awesome. Other members at the table had rainbow trout-loved it; and fried catfish and shrimp-only good things to say. Crab cakes were good. Clam chowder was good. Desert was great as well. I dont know why it took so long to visit this restaurant but we will be back when in town. Highly highly recommend it.”
