“Attended an event at the Frank W. Mayborn Civic & Convention Center and was pleasantly surprised! You can tell the staff takes pride in keeping everything in great condition. The intimate size makes it easy to navigate and creates a more...”
“Staff is nice, but this place needs attention. Parking lot needs adequate lighting after dark. it was super dark. I felt unsafe to go to my car alone. Only an isolated set of toilets across the building from my event had an accessible stall to fit my normal wheelchair, which meant being away from anyone, crowd or help, so I made the choice not to go. The other set of accesible toilets could not fit a wheelchair....”
“Attended Millenniumcon 2024 at Mayborn. It was very nice, plenty of room. Great staff. Great concession kitchen. Clean restrooms. I hope this is our new home for future Millenniumcons.”
“Very good place, unfortunately there is one experience that lowered it down from 5 stars. Staff did not properly coordinate with out staff in regards to hours for the building, thus forcing us to interrupt an event when we could've organized it around the hours of the center. It was not advertised or announced in any form. It was suddenly sprung on us.”
“Another Annual Sammons Center dinner dance. Beautiful decorations. Every year its excellent. My son had his wedding reception there as well it was beautiful.”
